Goa Chief Ministers Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Services awarded to Fire Personnel on Goa Liberation Day , 19th December 2019

On the Occasion of Goa Liberation Day, 19th December’2019, the Fire Personnel of the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services were presented with the Goa Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Services.



SHRI RATNAKANT A. GAWAS, LEADING FIRE FIGHTER

Shri Ratnakant A. Gawas, Leading Fire Fighter joined Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services on 26.09.1983. He has successfully completed Elementary Course in General Fire Fighting. He has put in 36 years of unblemished service in the Department. He has worked at various Fire Stations and has exhibited keen interest in executing difficult tasks in the operational field. He was awarded Commendatory Note on two occasions in appreciation of his Good work done in conducting Rescue during the flash flood at Pilgaon, Bicholim on 25.07.2005 & saving the life of Shri Dyaneshwar P. Pisurlikar, aged 40 years from a 35’deep well at Satiswada Mayem on 23.03.2007 and in appreciation of his dedication and devotion to duties on 14.04.2002. He was awarded Certificate of merit on one occasion for his all round best performance in the Annual Inspection Parade for the year 1994.


In recognition of his Meritorious Service to the Department Shri Ratnakant A. Gawas, Leading Fire Fighter is being awarded the Goa Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service on the auspicious occasion of Goa Liberation Day on 19th December 2019.



SHRI CHANDRAKANT M. PARAB, LEADING FIRE FIGHTER

Shri Chandrakant M. Parab joined the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services on 26.09.1983 as Fire Fighter. Subsequently, he was promoted to the post of Watch Room Operator in the year 1990. He has successfully completed Elementary Course in General Fire Fighting and Communication Instructors Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur. He was promoted to the post of Leading Fire Fighter in the year 2015. During his tenure as Watch Room Operator in the Department he has acquainted himself with the communication skills and efficiently carried out his duties with utmost devotion. He has worked at various Fire Stations and has exhibited keen interest in executing difficult task in the operational field. Shri Chandrakant M. Parab has put in 36 years of unblemished service in the Department.


During his tenure he was awarded Commendatory Notes on two occasions in appreciation of his Good Discipline and General Behaviour and Certificate of Merit on one occasion for his overall good performance in Annual Inspection Parade for the year 2014.


In recognition of his Meritorious Service to the Department Shri Chandrakant M. Parab, Leading Fire Fighter is being awarded the Goa Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service on the auspicious occasion of Goa Liberation Day on 19th December 2019.



SHRI RAJAN R. PARAB, LEADING FIREFIGHTER

Shri Rajan R. Parab joined the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services on 16.10.1996 as Fire Fighter. He has successfully completed Elementary Course in General Fire Fighting. He was promoted to the post of Leading Fire Fighter 24.09.2013. He has worked at various Fire Stations and has exhibited keen interest in executing difficult task in the operational field. Shri Rajan R. Parab, Leading Fire Fighter has put in 23 years of unblemished service in the Department.

During his tenure he was awarded Commendatory Notes on two occasions in appreciation of his exemplary performance in the field of Rescue Operation at Flood affected areas at Bicholim and Sanquelim during the monsoon in the year 2007 and for showing exemplary performance in the field of Fire Fighting and Rescue Operation during the year 2018. He was also awarded Certificate of Merit for his all-round performance in the Annual Inspection Day Parade for the year 2014-15.


In recognition of his Meritorious Service to the Department Shri Rajan R. Parab, Leading Fire Fighter is being awarded the Goa Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service on the auspicious occasion of Goa Liberation Day on 19th December 2019.
