The Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Government of Goa, observed the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram” with great patriotic fervor and unity at its Headquarters in Panaji and across all fire stations in the State.
Addressing the gathering, Shri. Nitin V. Raiker, Director of Fire & Emergency Services highlighted the significance of the national song, stating that “Vande Mataram” embodies the spirit of unity, courage, and devotion to the motherland. He urged all officers, fire personnel, and staff to rededicate themselves to the ideals of service, discipline, and
commitment toward the safety and well-being of citizens.
The event began with a brief address by the Director, followed by the collective singing of “Vande Mataram” by all present, creating an atmosphere of pride and patriotism. The program concluded with the resounding chant of “Jai Hind” as a tribute to the nation.
The Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to serving the people of Goa with dedication and integrity, drawing inspiration from the timeless message of “Vande Mataram.” The event was also commemorated at all 16 Fire Station across the State of Goa.
