The 8th Batch of training for community volunteer’s Aapda Mitra/ Aapda Sakhi was conducted by this Directorate. The Training commenced on 25.01.2023 and concluded on 08.02.2023. During the Training the Volunteers various topics were covered such as Disaster Management, Disaster Preparedness, Earth quake, Landslides, Nuclear and Chemical Emergencies, Basic Search & Rescue, Flood, Tsunami, Community based First Aid, CPR, Control Bleeding, Basic Fire Safety, Lifting & Moving of Patients, Rope Rescue Techniques & Improvised Techniques.
A total of 17 nos. of volunteers successfully underwent the Aapda Mitra /Apda Sakhi Training.
