The Emergency Responder Kit (ERK), ID Card & Certificate distribution function for Aapda Mitra/Aapda Sakhi was held by the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services at the Classroom, Fire Force Headquarters, St. Inez, Panaji, Goa on 06th May 2023 at 11:30 hrs.

Shri. Nitin V. Raiker, Director, Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services congratulated all the Aapda Mitra /Aapda Sakhi from Batch V to X for undergoing the 12 days training programme and handed over the Emergency Responder Kit (ERK), ID card & Certificates to the individual participants. 

The Aapda Mitra /Aapda Sakhi from Batch V to X have been trained in various component of Disaster Management such as Basic Concept of Disaster Management, Disaster Preparedness, Basic Search and Rescue, Earthquake and safety, Flood/Cyclone/Tsunami, Medical First Aid, Rope Rescue and improvised Techniques & Flood Rescue Techniques Exercise.

Shri. Rahul Dessai, Station Fire Officer compered the function & Shri. Bosco Ferrao, Asst. Divisional Officer proposed the Vote of Thanks.
