The 56th Goa Liberation Day 2017 was celebrated at Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, St.Inez- Panaji. Shri Ashok Menon, Director, Fire & Emergency Services unfurled the National Flag and greeted all Personnel of the Department.

A Contingent of Goa Fire & Emergency Services participated in the 56th Goa Liberation Day Parade on 19th December 2017 at Campal, Panaji. The Goa Fire & Emergency Service Platoon was commanded by Shri Sushil Moraskar, Station Fire Officer. On this occasion Hon. Chief Minister of Goa, Shri. Manohar Parrikar awarded the Chief Minister’s Fire Service Gold Medal for Meritorious service to Shri Shrikrishna R. Parrikar, Station Fire Officer, Shri. Namdev Gawas, Sub-Officer and Shri. Anandu Velip, Leading Fire Fighting.
